The Team.

  • Tim Ulrich

Tim has been a yacht designer for over 25 years, now having more than 40 motor- and sailing yachts under his belt, for which he has been responsible from the initial concept to their christening. But to be precise, it all began much earlier. As a sailor from his earliest childhood, an airbrush artist, and a yacht enthusiast who was drawing designs and layouts of yachts as a teenager, his path was clearly predetermined. Today, he has gathered a fantastic team in his studio that not only realizes the most challenging visions but also develops magnificent ideas. When he's not in the office or somewhere by or on the water (which is rare), he is often found either under or driving pre-war cars.

  • Xenia Jochum (on the right)

Xenia often proves to be a rock in the storm with her calm and thoughtful demeanor, but don’t mess with her. She holds a Master of Arts in Interior Design and has been with us since 2017. She is fascinated by the style of classic yacht interiors and has a knack for translating their aesthetics, functionality, and value into a modern, bright, and clear design style for yachts and superyachts. Her design skills are complemented by ample experience in technical implementation. With her talents as an interior designer and her love for cooking and food, she should urgently design a restaurant – it would be a wonderful place but not so great for the waistline.

  • Philipp Lebranchu

Philipp joined our team in 2017 and has since become an indispensable part of our studio. His ability to remain composed and pragmatic, even when faced with the most chaotic situations, is truly remarkable.. Moreover, his calm is so profound that he even manages to tame 100,000 bees in his spare time, showcasing his extraordinary multitasking skills. In addition to having a keen eye for the aesthetics of yacht exteriors, Philipp is an absolute expert in the technical realm. He consistently delivers solid, meticulously planned, and calculated solutions. Yet, what sets him apart is his capacity to surprise with innovative, out-of-the-box approaches.

  • Marlene Muskewitz

Marlene is a naval architect who joined our office in 2022, and she might have been considered a newcomer if she wasn't who she is. Anyone who interacts with her on a daily basis would never guess she hasn't been working in yacht design for decades. Even during her studies, she went far beyond her field to participate the development of an award-winning carbon fiber race car in Formula Student, ambitiously and competently delving deep into every project and challenge here as well. As someone who engages with graphic design and literature in her free time, she is not only a skilled engineer but also a link between art and technology. Thus, she is never at a loss for the right answer, whether technically or verbally.

  • Sören Wiesrecker

Since starting as an intern with us in 2019, Sören has stayed loyal to the studio, enhancing it with his expertise in industrial design and visualization. When he's not out on his wakeboard after hours, he augments this expertise with a profound knowledge of wines, which frequently sparks interesting discussions at our Beiderbeck bar. Sören introduces a very modern, organic style to our studio with his flowing forms and is an absolute perfectionist. His ambition and determination to understand and fine-tune everything down to the last detail often imbue our visualizations with that certain something. It's hard to define exactly what it is, but its presence is unmistakably felt.

  • Dagmar Kessler

Born in the Alps and trained at Siemens in office management, there was little to suggest a career in superyachting apart from a love for the sea and a passion for interior design. Fortunately, things took a different turn. She became part of the team shortly after the studio's founding and has since absorbed everything about superyachts, materials and projects like a sponge. She feels as much at home in Antibes Port Vauban as she does wearing a helmet on a new build or sailing classics at Kiel Week. With her friendly and open manner, she is well-liked everywhere and has become indispensable in the yachting world, far beyond the beiderbeck studio.

  • Daisy

Meet Daisy, our design studio's fluffy mascot!

With her dazzling white fur and a gaze that radiates calm and creativity, Daisy is more than just a mascot; she's our daily dose of inspiration.
